The SUP Directive and our standards
The Single-Use Plastics (SUP) Directive is a European regulation limiting single-use plastics. At AS-INTER-BOX we have for years used technology and materials aligned with the spirit of these rules.
Unchanged technology and standards
We have consistently used the same production technology and the same material-selection standards for years. Our packaging is made from high-quality European board, with inks and varnishes of the lowest possible migration and low odour emission.
The minimal plastic content in our packaging is the result of long-standing production standards, not merely regulatory requirements.
Material quality
- High-quality European board
- Inks and varnishes with the lowest possible migration
- Low odour emission
- Materials suitable for food contact
Laboratory testing
Whenever we introduce a new packaging-production technology, we run the necessary laboratory tests. The results remain valid for many years, because we never lower our quality level — the highest possible standard once set is only raised when new production possibilities arrive without compromising quality.
