Working process for custom packaging
We package your imagination.
From the idea and structural blueprint, through artwork preparation, to a production run ready for sale and delivery.

Two modes of cooperation
1) Standard packaging — off the shelf
Applies to white and generic packaging (without custom print, aside from our identification mark). Available per the online catalogue and dispatched from stock.
2) Printed or structurally custom packaging
Applies to personalised packaging (branding, artwork, finishes) and new structures/dies. Governed by the design-and-production process described below.
Step by step: custom packaging
Project scope and run size
We establish:
- •how many packaging types (variants) the project covers,
- •planned quantities, reprint frequency, seasonality,
- •whether the run meets the economic minimum for offset printing (typically counted in thousands of units; depends on format, number of versions and finishes).
Structure and functional parameters
We select the packaging structure:
- •from existing solutions or designed from scratch (a new cutting die),
- •dimensions and tolerances tuned to the product and pack-out method,
- •grammage, stiffness, grease/moisture resistance,
- •window, closure, gluing, ergonomics on the client's packing line.
Material and finishes
We define the layers and final effect:
- •varnishing (type, zones, matt/gloss),
- •embossing, hot stamping, other finishes,
- •aesthetic and durability requirements (rub resistance, set-off, performance in cold/humid conditions).
Artwork and file standards
We verify the supplied artwork:
- •vector artwork, logos and text outlined (consistent branding reproduction),
- •colours: CMYK and/or Pantone (where required), palette consistency,
- •press-ready file (bleeds, safety margins, resolution of raster elements).
If the supplied materials do not allow reliable reproduction (no vectors, no colour references), we rebuild and tidy the files to production standard.
Pre-proof – colour confirmation
Before the full colour proof, we confirm the key colours:
- •we courier a Pantone chip set so the client can see the chosen colours in their target representation (on an offset print),
- •this removes discrepancies between screen / proof / press,
- •once colours are agreed we move to the full proof.

Proof and mock-up
We prepare:
- •a colour proof reflecting the typical printing result on the target board,
- •a structural mock-up (plotter-cut); the structural accuracy depends on the stage and availability of the final die.
Sign-off
Once colours and structure are approved:
- •we close out the project technically and graphically,
- •we agree the production and collection schedule.
Series production
Production covers:
- •offset printing, finishes, die-cutting, gluing,
- •packing and labelling.
Each batch is run against a production order number and covered by traceability.(more on traceability)
Collections and storage
A batch may be released in one go or across several collections. Storage and releases run on a warehouse model. This makes it easier to combine economical offset run sizes with deliveries tuned to actual consumption.
Lead times: what to expect
Preparation stage (structure + artwork + proof/mock-up): from very fast turnarounds up to around two weeks, depending on complexity, number of iterations and current workload.
Production after approval: from short lead times up to a week or more, depending on the queue, finishes and number of versions.
Logistics and packaging availability
Logistics: collection and delivery
- •Self-collection – directly from our site.
- •Courier shipping – dispatch to the address you provide.
- •Free delivery – within Warsaw and the Mazowieckie region.
Storing larger runs and staged collections
You can order a larger run (larger batch = lower production cost, and so a lower price) and have it stored with us. You can then "draw" packaging in smaller batches against a pre-agreed schedule.
Ongoing partnerships: packaging on demand within 24h
For ongoing partnerships we manage production and delivery logistics so that packaging is available on demand within 24h (within agreed stock levels and terms).
Preparation costs and iterations
In offset printing, preparatory work is a meaningful part of the cost: structure, file preparation, trials, proofs and production set-up. A standard preparation scope is covered within the agreed project budget. Additional iterations driven by further changes on the project side (further versions, rebuilds, repeat mock-ups/proofs) are settled on a shared basis, proportional to the scope of change.
